Broadhall Way has been transformed in the last decade and is now proudly one of the 92 league grounds. The stadium has a capacity of 7,100, with 1,400 allocated to visitors. Away fans are seated in the South Stand (opposite end to the car park). The South Stand is the newest stand in the stadium and has a 1,400 seated capacity. The stand also has excellent views and acoustics.
The main stand is the other seated stand in the ground and has a capacity of 2,000. This stand also houses the club’s offices as well as the executive boxes and of course dressing rooms and tunnel. Behind the main stand is the main entrance and the ‘Boro Shop’. The Roebuck Suite is also located in this stand and is used to host events.
The East Terrace is the most popular stand in the ground. It’s fully terraced and is also where the “Barmy Army” congregate and sing from. It has a capacity for 3000 supporters. If you’ve ever seen a game from Broadhall Way on the TV, then this is the angle you will have seen as the TV gantry is situated at the top of the East Terrace along with the clock.
The North stand (Broadhall Way End) is again another terrace which holds around approx 500-700 supporters. This end also has facilities for disabled supporters. It’s expected that this stand will be upgraded soon now the club has been promoted into the football league. Plans are to replace the whole stand with a 2,500-3,000 seated stand which will also house the club’s offices. These plans are yet to be confirmed though.
- The Broadhall Suite (Stripes) is located in the South-East corner of the ground between the away end and East Terrace. This is usually open to all supporters on matchdays, but this may be subject to change.
- The club shop is located behind the main stand.
- Entry prices for away supporters this season are £18 (adults) £15 (concessions) and £10 (under 18).
- The main car park for the stadium is opposite the ground on Fairlands Showground and it’s free.
- The Roaring Meg retail park opposite the ground is also used for parking and has eating outlets such as Burger King and Pizza Hut.
- A small amount of parking is also located behind the East Terrace.
- The scoreboard that was used previously at Southampton’s old Dell Stadium is now positioned on the top of the South Stand and provides home supporters with goal flashes as well as advertising.
- The record attendance at Broadhall Way is currently 8,040 when Newcastle visited in the FA Cup in 1998.
